My name is Rachel Langley. I have a degree in Communications & Professional Writing, but my love for writing started long before college. I discovered my gift for it in the sixth grade; my best friend was filling up a spiral notebook with *NSYNC fan fiction, and it inspired me to see what I could whip up with my own imagination--some kind of Civil War era historical fiction that's now buried in the back of a closet somewhere. But that began my love for words, languages, poetry and prose.
Originally from Georgia, I now make my home in Charleston, South Carolina. Besides writing, some other things I love include: M. Night Shyamalan movies, Jane Austen, the Spanish language, foreign shows and movies on Netflix, Corrie Ten Boom, alpacas, mini M&Ms, Quo Vadis, and advocating for the poor, the widow, the orphan, the foreigner and the oppressed.
